i have bbk long tube headers and the rubber hose that connects to the tube that runs to the cats burns on the #1 primary tube. has any one come up with a simple solution to this problem?
If you mean what I think you mean, just loose those metal clips that hold the smog system together. You'll be able to move them a little and I'm sure it will not touch the headers. Once they're in a good position, retight the clips.
Other than that, well I'm not sure what you meant .
There a bunch of hoses connected together with metal clips. Its on the passenger side header of course. You know the kind you stick a flathead screwdriver in them to tight them or loose them by turning the screw?
im with 95cobraguy,your not really smog legal with the long tubes anyways so trash all that smog crap.but dont waste your money on a smog delete pulley, just buy a short belt and bypass it.
i had a smog delete pulley and off road h-pipe. i rigged it up withs some enginuity. the reason i need cats is because i'm moving to england and they do smog tests there. and it should be smog legal there because they don't have the c.a.r.b. crap there. I will post some pictures.
