Is anyone running bbk long tube headers with the bassani O/R X Midpipe?
I was curious as to how much trouble it would be to connect the 2 different brands together and if it is even possible.

If you don't get your answer here :SNSign:

I'd call both Bassani and BBK to see what they got to say about it

It won't fit. BBk requires a bbk pipe and visa versa. There are a few companies like vrs and dr gas that make pipes to fit on bbk longtubes though.

i dont know about the x-pipe but ive got bbk lts with bbk o/r h and bassani catback and it all fit together fine.
fwiw, calling bassani wont do you any good, i called them before to ask a similar question, and they said they dont mix and match stuff to see if it fits.

I think the problem matching a Bassini mid pipe with another brand header - especially LT - is that Bassini headers are designed a bit different. They do mid length - not LT. So they wont match a mid pipe designed for full length headers..

Would it be possible to have an exhaust shop custom fit it? I remember reading somewhere that somebody had it done.

Any decent muffler shop should be able to fab them together...Dr Gas mid pipe would probably be better as its like 6-8 pcs that have to be fabbed in anyway and then welded up..
Stick with matched brands for those 2 pcs...catbacks are pretty much all set-up to connect to the factory tails..
