Hey guys, bout to install some BBK longtubes, my friend just did this 2 weeks ago and mentioned something about the oil dip stick having to be replaced. Any ideas\comments as to what he was talkin about? thanks...

Dipstick will go back in, but it was a pain... lots of twisting, wiggling and jiggling... sorta like Britney Spears I guess... but I did get it back in.
I did damage the o-ring on the end of the dipstick and I had to replace it.

The EGR can be painful too... If you disconnect it from the top, then hook it up to the header, then reconnect it to the top you should be okay. That's what I had to do. Otherwise, I couldn't get the dang threads started.

On mine we connected the EGR to the header first then reconnected it to the car. Otherwise its almost impossible.

No you dont NEED to drop the K member, but it makes it a ton easier. Instead of taking 6+ hours, it was done along with a clutch install in 3 hours :nice:
