BBK O/R X-pipe Q

i just took my BBK O/R X pipe off and put my stock H back on tonight, because my inpection is comming up, and my mom thought it was WY too loud.
Well, anyway, now that I got my OEM H back on(with 4 cats), I swear she got more low end balls then with BBK. Is it possible that with O/R X pipe, I'm loosing lowend torque because with no cat, and my car just doesn't have enough exaust flow to benifit from BBK?

You probably did gain a noticeable amount of low end torque back with the restrictive stock pipe. Problem is, at 3000+ rpm the offroad X is going to dramatically outflow the stock pipe...so while your car will be a little more peppy in the LOW rpm, it would still get beaten by the same car everytime in a race with the offroad X.

You sacrifice a little to gain a lot where it counts.

thats what I was thinking. Well, I think as soon as I have some free money, instead of putting BBK back on, I'll go with prochamber. I just need to put high flow cat in it somehow
