I have the Trick Flow set up on my 5.0 and found a good deal on a BBK SSI INTAKE MANIFOLD, Is there any better performance with this or just stay with the setup I have? I can get it for 350.00 thats with fuel rails upper and lower intake and 70mm throttle body, the best part is that it has never been bolted to a car...

Do a search in Corral.net's engine tech section. There was quite an intense discussion over there a while back. It seems that there have been some problems with the rails leaking, resulting in a few engine fires.

You didn't specify which Trick Flow intake, but even if you had the Street Heat (which is their mildest), I still think the BBK wouldn't be a significant enough upgrade, if even an upgrade at all. I think you might just be pissing away 350 bucks.

Do a search here in 5.0 Tech. There was at least one forum member who had one. He had more problems than a hound dog has fleas. Based on what I remember about his experiences, I wouldn't go anywhere near a BBK SSI intake manifold.

the turns from the TB to the first plenum are pretty tight for high flow plus the perpendicular interesecting of two plenums with the first being an "cross roads" intersection is less than desireable in my book. If you look in mechanical engineering books on high velocity duct design, this is textbook poor design.

I see, I see.
