Any intakes fit with a BBK strut brace? I am mainly thinking the explorer GT40....anyone running this without interference issues?

Does the GT40 sit higher in the engine bay than the OEM?

I bought the car with the BBK brace; I would have done the MM brace. I am thinking about switching to the MM but I don't know if I want to turn my strut tower into swiss cheese with more mounting holes.

That brace in the Ebay ad is not like the BBK brace in my car. My BBK has the bolts on the outside of the tube connection at the firewall location.
I am planning to install my GT40 tubular intake with a 1" spacer this weekend. I doubt the BBK will fit with my 1" spacer. The MM brace fits all sorts of intakes but I would imagine it is a different bolt pattern at the strut tower, but I don't want to make the strut tower into swiss cheese with holes!!
If the BBK brace doesn't fit after my install, I will try to modify it by sawing off the two bars that triangulate back to the firewall. I figure a brace between the strut towers alone is probably the main point of the brace anyway.
