I have done all the work on my car up to his point and need some help. I was tying to install a BBK TB (I know most people hate them but I wanted to try one for myself) and the torx screws in the TPS and the motor/spring side are so tight it's not funny. I tried to force the issue and broke one on the TPS side. I can't figure it out, they never loosen up they stay tight the whole way out, I mean till they broke off that is.
Does anyone know what size screw I can replace them with? Not being able to get one out in tacked, I am finding it hard to get replacements. Thanks for your help in advance

Yeah, Ford went a little crazy with the thread lock on those bolts. I didn't actually break any though I did mess up a few torx bits. Did you break off the head of the bolt or just strip the torx head? I actually used a pair of thin vise grips to loosen most of mine before even trying the torx bits. Just clamp the vice grips on the head of the screw and turn to loosen them. When you get them out you can take them to your local hardware store and find replacement bolts. They might be a little hard to find as they are probably metric threads. The metric bolt/screw inventory is often limited. Most cities also have a store that specializes in just bolts. You might check the yellow pages if you cannot find them at the hardware store.

Thanks for the advice, I can't believe I didn't think about using the vise grips. I did break the head clean off one of the TPS screws. That's more than likely why I didn't think about using the vise grips, to damn made that such a little screw was put in so tight and with so much thread locker!
