i just installed the underdrive pullies, that i have ahd for about a year. Everything went well except the crank pullie the actual pullie is fine its the stock dampner that is bolted to new pullie. When running the dampner looks like it wobles just a little bit, not much wondering if this is a problem and how i can fix it. car seems too run fine. thanks

I have the same question. I have UPR's and the pulley itself looks ok, but the dampener does wobble slightly. I went as far as driving it for a month, then taking it off and re-installing it. Still wobbles.

The Steeda Underdrive pulleys would be a

yea it is a problem eventually (if it hasnt happend already) it will weaken your front crank seal. did it to mine untill i got smart and ordered myself a set of steeda's. after i had to replace the seal.

I have had no trouble with the BBK's. They do not wobble and everything lined up and runs true.

I have a 5.0 and I don't know how much different your balancers or dampeners are from the 5.0L engine. However, the balancer is going to wobble a lot because thats what it does, dampens. Even if you install a new one you will experience the same thing. When you need to worry is if the rubber seal is coming out of the dampener, or is starting to come out. It will throw off the balance and you will experience a vibration. But if you aren't and everything is fine, don't be alarmed by the dampener wobbling behind the pulley.

I just bought some BBK Underdrive pullies, so your guys advice would be just to sell them and buy some Steeda ones?

I've read articles about harmonic vibration that would advice against replacement pullies. They say that the aftermarket pullies do not have the same vibration dampening qualities as the stock ones do.

*shrug*

This is one reason I chose not to get UDPs. Too many conflicting accounts. Too little gain to justify the risks. But that's a personal choice...
