I'm looking into getting a CAI. Which one is better? The BBK or MAC Straight Shot. I have a 2000 Mustang GT. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Straight shot.

Anything w/ a bend before the MAF could cause issues(usualy a rich condition & no power gain)

If I had to choose between those two I would say the MAC. Personally I wouldn't go for either. IMO Densecharger is the best, both the MAC and BBK are chrome which will heat up way faster than the densecharger thus defeating the purpose of a COLD air intake.

I have the Mac straight shot. Even tho the intake is chrome and may get hot. I feel no loss in power. Go with Mac str8 shot

You wont feel a lose in power. You will still gain some power with the MAC straight shot just not as much as you would with the densecharger.

MAC, coming from someone who knows how much BBK's kit totally blows. It needs to be bolted tightly onto the weak stock plastic MAF housing... well, when you try to bolt something tightly to weak plastic, GUESS WHAT??? IT BREAKS! I snapped two of the four edges off of the MAF housing before i said **** it and got an entire C&L "before throttle body" package.

One of my friends recommends BBK over MAC for like everything...He said that BBK is built better and gives pbetter performance results. So I don't know what to do

Personally I wouldnt reccomend either of them! If you want real gains, go with a FLT, Densecharger or a FIPK. Justm y two centavos

Just get the Steeda CAI. It's basicly the same as the straight shot , but it is not chrome or polished so it won't get hot. Also don't get a CAI with a 90 degree bend in front of the MAM that will throw off your air to fuel ratio.
