Nope .... they use a very thin material and it sounds like a tin can.

I dont like their style of cross over too much. I prefer the D-pipe. If not that, either a h-pipe or dr. gas x.

I did sound a wee bit gay there.

Thats the other thing...hpipes pretty much sound the same no matter what brand it is. X-pipes on the other hand sound different depending on the brand/design of the crossover. I havent heard many good comments on the sound of the bbk piece but i have no first hand experience.

are you saying that a x-pip will sound diffrent from an h-pip?If so will the x-pip sound have a more bass and a loud hollowly sound.

No, the X-pipe tends to give that "raspy" high performance sound...

The h-pipe gives the "more bass, loud hollowy sound"

woah there buddy. You can ask all those questions in one post ya know. Yes, headers will make it sound better. Your best bet would be longtubes cause they sound great.

I love the sound of my BBK, but as for fitment it is crappy. I have BBK headers with the BBK X and i can never get it to fit correctly. I have a leak at the header flanges. I also had an exhaust shop install it.

i know a guy with stock headers, bbk X pipe and flows, and i personally think it sounds badass, its a tad quiet at idle, he is fixing to slap on some bbk headers, that should help out. but at WOT it screams and sounds nice.

bbk e/l headers, bbk catted x pipe and flowmasters.... sounds damn good to me. had a few problems with exhaust leaks but not anymore and the x pipe fit like a glove.
