Performance of X-pipes is argued to be the same as h pipes. Choose on sound...not on power gained.

The only way you will get that is if you buy a 4.6....preferably a DOHC. A x-pipe on a 5.0 will sound more "smooth" at idle i think though.

Choosing between x or h is a matter of taste. IMO the h will give you a deeper raspier sound than the more mellow x.

yes....h-pipe sounds more like a muscle car, x-pipe screams alot more and is raspier. Power difference wont even be noticed.

I had those bbk long tubes and i liked them. Without going custom you arent gonna get much better IMO. Plus the ceramic coating is nice.
