Bearings

Hi I have a bearing going out we all thought it was a throw out bearing but from research it’s a counter shaft bearing. When trying to order the part from auto Zone ORielys or Napa no one has a part for this . Any suggestions or are we looking for another part to replace it? Please help

Perhaps it would help you to locate parts IF you included the make, model, year, engine, and transmission of your ride. Ford has used several different manual transmissions over the years. As well as differences within the model years.

Another option might be to use the services of a transmission shop as many would consider a good idea to have the rest of the transmission checked out while it's off the car anyway. After all it would be a real shame to go through all the work of pulling a transmission only to end up with a different problem after re-installing.

The bearings are all standard bearings available from many vendors other than auto parts stores.

Do you have the numbers on the bearing itself? A Google will usually turn it up from a few vendors.

Not surprised the local auto parts don't have them.

Post photo of bearing and numbers for better help tracking one down
