Beefed Up Torque Boxes?

Just curious what you guys have done to strengthen your torque boxes on your foxes? i just installed some reinforcing plates but someone said they are cheap and dont work worth a damn...but i havent seen or heard anything else to strengthen them? pics of anything you have done?

What he said and weld all the points where they attach to the body. Both upper and lowers are tied into my cage also.

Anyone done a universal 4 link setup? And what kit if you did?

The person you talked to was wrong. Your best bet is to seam weld all of the torque boxes and install upper and lower torque box reinforcements.

And like Bentley, my cage is tied into my torque boxes. Every little bit helps. Those four mounting points are critical to the proper operation of your suspension!

As sharad said... Weld the seams put the Plates in... Washers around bolt holes is another trick

RICK91GT makes'em and hopefully he will chime in. I don't understand why someone would say battle boxes are waste of time unless the plates you installed are made of tin foil. What kind of "plates" and where were they installed at? Eveything helps especially in that area.
