How have yall been? I rarely get on here ever since I sold the 95 last year, but I've been getting the itch again... A friend's friend has a black 94 GT and it made me miss mine.

I'm hoping to buy another one. Probably won't get another black one since it's Fn hot in Texas. White or Teal are my top picks. And I won't mess around with little bolt ons this time- I'd build a turbo system myself. I do powder coating and ceramic coating on the side, so that will help.

Wade, hurry up and get it and start posting. Most all of the old timers are hiding or left.

It's great to see you back.

welcome back.

after sitting for years, the fairlane is finally on the road, even though i haven't finished restoration yet, but i promised the wife i'd sell the stang after i could drive the fairlane, so the time is here. i would sell it with or without the motor.

if you are interested in my stang, let me know. but you will probably want one locally

and your's is black Chris.

welcome back. as far as building a turbo goes, i would check out on3performance first. their prices are fantastic and a lot of guys swear by them over on the corral. i've been giving serious thought to getting an auto vert and putting a turbo on and keeping the boost low and thats it. just a fun cruiser i can take to the grocery store and not care if a door gets dinged.

hey ... mine is an auto vert with new seats and paint

with 10.27:1 CR, it's not set up for boost though.

then again, i don't really think it needs any boost, if you know what i mean

JT- We'll see how money flows in this summer. Reality is, I'll buy the car and drive it/collect parts for a year and then install the turbo.

Ryan- I checked out On 3's stuff. Cheap, but I'm not sure I'd trust it 100%. I can weld, and my dad owns a metal shop. I like building things, so I'll just do it myself. Like I said, I do powder coating/ceramic so it'll look pretty. Maybe build a few extra and sell you one.

Chris- Verts are too heavy and I like 5 speeds. Plus, MD is a heck of a long ways away from me!! Thanks though.

I've seen JT has posted a few more times since I left, got his post count up juuuust a little higher. And Grady still clicks away at the emoticon screen! LOL

Actually, you really need to do the On3, so we've got someone who's done one of the kits for our car, who can give an honest assessment. I'm intrigued by the idea of a turbo on my stock block, but have not been willing to spend what I've seen for turbo kits. If the On3 is a good kit, they're starting to get into the "that might just be worth doing" range.

Unless you're going to make one that's better and cheaper!

That's the plan!! I figure I can do the whole thing for $2,000 or less- and the hot side will be mild steel (ceramic coated), and most likely aluminum (powder coated) for the cold side. Leave the long block alone except for a higher flowing upper/lower intake. 3.27 gears, 255 fuel pump, 44lb injectors, MAF, tune. Goal will be 400 at the wheels.

So, keep me on your list if you're going to make more than one... Already have the gears... if you can put together a kit (or the custom pieces and a shopping list) for <$2k, you may have more than just me signing up!

Will do! Keep in mind, it may take a long time (maybe a year) until it's all done.

Once I get to doing this, I'll take lots of pictures and keep a list of all what is needed.

Yeah, I guess you need a car first, don't you? No hurries on my end either; you just got the wheels spinning in my head when I saw the On 3 info.

Post up some picks of the fastback! Gulfstream Aqua is an awesome color.
