Those original cobra cars held the 0-60 record for years with the big block engine.
my neighbor has a replica with a 351 in it.
not many around with that top.
Those cars don't need much power to scoot. I see guys on the factory five forums building them with Coyotes and other high(er) HP engines and then see them complain about the car being too much to handle. 300-350HP in a light car light that is plenty for a street car.
I was planning on using a 96-98 Cobra donor for my build. 305HP will be enough...i'm sure. I may even MS3 it just to add traction control.
