beginner Q's for a turbo rebuild

A while ago i pulled my N/A motor out. Im looking to build a 2.3T this month to get my other 89' back on the road. what would be a good price to build one myself (basically reman'ed). Also how much am i looking at to get a turbo rebuilt. im lookin for the easiest/fastest way to just get the car out my moms garage. right now i have a engine bay with a compressor and a ps pump in it.(no tranny also). and i need it to be running buy the end of the month.
so, how much to completly rebuild a 2.3t by myself?
would it be cheaper to have a shop do it?
how much to rebuild a turbo?

You can buy T3 Turbo rebuild kits of ebay for cheap,

There not hard to rebuild with new seals etc,

when you start replacing the compressor wheel then it gets pricey

why would i just drop a pulled motor when i have no clue on the milage or maintainance.

You didn't get to see the odometer on the car it came from?

Pull the head and have a look...pull one of the main caps and have a look. If both look good then run it.

Check the turbo for excessive play, if it's tight and spins free then run it.
