Ok, so i'm in a dilemma.

Last year i installed a ZEX DRY nitrous kit on a friend's '97 Cobra. I did a pretty clean install and routed the purge out of the two "nostrils" on the hood. Well, my friend was too chicken to use it so all he did was purge it. Eventually, he decided to sell the car. He took the kit off and kept it.

I did him some favors lately and he offered to give the kit to me. The kit is number 82015 and is good for all 86-98 V8 Mustangs 5.0 and 4.6L.

First question is, could it go on my '03??? I don't think so since the kit uses vacuum to raise the fuel pressure. I don't think the fuel system on the 99+ SOHC works that way. Secondly, if i COULD use it on my 99+, would you install it on my bone stock '03 GT or my mildly modified '88 5.0.

SInce this is the 4.6L boards, i wanna address the concerns of this kit on my 4.6L.

But before i get too ahead of myself? will it work on a 99+ GT??

If not, i guess it's going on my 5.0

Im not really sure if you can actually use it on our cars due to the returnless fuel system but im not entirely sure on that. You could definately run the system safely though if it would work. Just dont get spray happy and fry the motor. Keep it under or around 100 shot and you should be fine. Dont forget all the safety stuff such as a window switch. But since you said it was a dry kit, Im not sure if you need that or not. Im just not sure that it will work on our cars. (99+) Good luck.

Guess i'll toss it on the 5.0 and run the 125 shot!

Id consider that since the 2003 is kinda the daily driver/nice beater. And Ryan, are you selling yours? If so, why?

Haha, it's tempting, but i dunno. I mean a free kit is one thing, but not sure i want nitrous enough for my '03 to buy a kit for it. To be honest i am not sure i would ever use it on that car

For dry kits, I think they mount the nozzle before the MAF so the MAF adjusts fuel pressure that way. It should work.
