I went to the NW Roundup a couple of years ago, and they put the Mustang II's in the "Miscellaneous" category, along with the Pintos and the pickup trucks. I hope they do that this year, too. "You want 'miscellaneous?' I'll SHOW you miscellaneous. . . ."

I haven't missed a RoundUp in eight years and they've always had a II catagory, usually right next to the the 87-93 convertibles.

I was there about three years ago, and when I asked where the II's were, someone said, "Down there, with the other stuff," and pointed to a side lot with pickups and Pintos. I brought my car the following year and there was a II category -- I think that's where I met you -- but when I rolled up that year, I was first told to put my car in with the Pintos, etc. I said, "Don't you have a Mustang II category?" and then the guy sent me over with the others.

I really don't remember. I'm lousy with names. Perce was there, and the guy from Canada with the white and blue Cobra, and the couple with the his & hers black & gold II's. My poor car was suffering mightily from my learning curve (baby's first engine), and was still white. Man, was it ugly. It was a white T-top hatch with a black scoop and the Centerline directionals shown in the above pic. Did I meet you there? I didn't stay long; people kept coming by and shaking their heads at the II's.
