Anybody else had issues with this.

I finally got the head unit on. After that I tried to move the belt tensioner to eaze the belt over the pullies it wouldn't move because the S/C bracket was in the way.

How in the He!l are you guys getting your belts on????????!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for any replies you may have to my dilema.:flag:

One more thing, does anybody know a part number other than Procharger's belts if I need to replace?

I think the Pro Charger compressor mounts as does the Vortech - pulley facing the motor. Mine is a PITA as well to get on - I have to have it up on ramps, get under the car with a pry bar and pry the tensioner from the bottom in an effort to get enough slack to get the belt on the alternator pulley. Major pain . . . maybe somebody else has a better way . . . ?

I was able to move it about one inch at a time. I used a regular wrench to pry it up an inch then put a pry bar down on the right side of the charger to hold it in place. Then I moved it up another inch then held it in place again until I got enough slack. Sounds confusing.

Where the yellow circle is where I would stick the pry bar and just used the side of the unit as a pivot to hold the tensioner up while I was using the wrench on the other side to move it up an inch at a time.

Spdfrkaby,
Nice shot!!!! Thank you for the reply.

I ended up having to grind down part of the tensioner bracket. Now it will be free and not bump into the blower bracket.

Do you have any more pics of the bay similar to that one? It would help me out greatly to see how the intercooler gets bolted on among other things. My install was a wash this past weekend due to the vague instruction from Procharger. I feel like the instructions say, "just bolt together and your done. No pics (well, a couple), no visual of which bolts, nuts, clamps, etc.

My next issue is when I pull out the "L" bracket to install the intercooler, it lines up but it almost appears I need a spacer between the intercooler tab and the bracket hole. Did you use the old tabs on the bottom of the radiator core, or are we supposed to use something supplied?

I have a million questions it seems.

If you have any other pics that would be beneficial, could you email [email protected]?

Anything you do would be a life saver at this point.

I don't have any intercooler shots. I bought mine used so all the major parts were already connected and I just put them together from where the worn lines were on everything. I used the stock holes on the bottom of the radiator. I have a 2 core. and I put the L bracket between the hood realase and the front mount.
