Hey guys I want to run just my alternator and crank pulley only. I have Aerospace billet water pump that I'm going to run. I bought one of those cheap knock-off March brackets for the alternator. It has the built in tensioner. Can I mount my alternator lower down to miss the water pump?

Has anyone run their's like this? Please post pics!!!

Thanks man. By the way your cak kicks a##!

That kit is exactly what I'm looking for. I looked it up here's the info if anybody else needs it:

Moroso 63810 Alternator Mounting Bracket SB Ford

Standard Ford or Nippondenso/Denso Mini Alternator
Alternator Mounting Bracket for Small Block Fords
Will mount Standard Ford or Nippondenso/Denso mini alternator on either side of engine.
Fits with mechanical water pumps and electric water pumps from all major manufacturers.
Provides an alternative to running the stock serpentine belt set up.
Kit Includes all mounting hardware.
Moroso has designed these Alternator Mount Kits to be simple, compact and very durable for the rigors and requirements of racing. Each kit is specifically engineered to fit a certain type of alternator and engine combination, so you don't have to worry about any installation issues.
Note: Will not fit if 10-63539 Electirc Water Pump is used.
