Belt Tensioner Question...

Hi,

I was able to remove the serpentine belt with my hands, pull tensioner and remove. Does that mean the tensioner is weak/needs replaced? The pulley is loud as well other pulleys. Also the belt has a split at the last 2 ribs on it as well. Thoughts?

Ya belt for sure since it’s ripped. Tensioner for sure since you should not be able to move it just with your hands unless you are the hulk.

Might as well replace all the pulleys since you said they are all making noise.
