How can you tell if your belt tensioner is bad? I have been having trouble with my belt size and shredded a belt. I figured out i had too big of a belt on there because i had the wrong size alt pulley. I havent swapped the belt or alt pulley back to the size its supposed to be yet. But i did notice if i grab the belt and pull on it, it actually gives a few inches. I thought people with vortech setups said that the belt is on there super tight to where you cant even move it. Does this mean i have a bad tensioner if i can grab it and get it to strech like that? You kind of hear/feel something sliding when the belt does that too.

Usually you'll here the belt slip (squeal) at very high revs when shifting
just correct the belt size and go from there
