Anyone know of a fix/modification for the wimpy Ford gas pedal so it won't bend/break?

Mine keeps bending, so much that the car won't go WOT anymore.

Is the fix a different pedal, or to just modify the stock one?

I'm pretty damn sick of bending the pedal back to it's original height every week or so...

Have you took the slack out of it?

I broke the black plastic part off mine one time.. never bent the metal though... mabey you could get some thin metal and a wire welder and box it in or somthing

if you take the slack out and floor it you can feel when the TB is wide open. I just don't push mine any more than that.

I have broke my POS plastic pedal twice. I do drive the hell out of it though. I was looking at the bullit pedal assembly (the one that comes with the whole medal piece) and it is the same thing the part that broke on the plastic one is still plastic on the bullit pedals so that won't work either.
