Anyone ever expierence a bent stock wheel?? Just wondering how common this is?
Went with a buddy to have him mount up some new tires on my stock bullitts. All was going well until the last wheel when we discovered it was bent slightly. You could see it wobble quite a bit.
I never hit anything with it and the car was stable as a rock at all speeds, so i wonder how it got bent? It could have been from the previous owner, but it does not appear as if the wheel weights were ever touched.
The wheel rebalanced fine with the new tire. Only needed 1/2 oz on the inside and 1.5 oz on the outside. We used stick on weights for the outer lip. Haven't mounted them yet though
Oh well, it was one of my two curb-rashed wheels...so it gives me an excuse to either buy two new bullitts or get all new wheels overall
