doing a modfox swap, 2002 2v - I forgot to unhook the fuel line at the fuel rail when dropping the engine/kframe out the bottom. consequently, I bent the passenger side fuel rail all to hell and it leaks. Whats a good stockish fuel rail to get? I want to spray it eventually, but I dont need anything wild. I havent worked on 4.6's much, im a 5.0 guy... will I need to get both sides (are they connected somehow?) or could I get away with just getting the passenger side? Does it have to be mustang specific, or would a crown vic fuel rail work? Theres a 98 GT at the wrecking yard, are these year specific?

what all needs to come off the top of the engine when swapping? does the intake elbow have to come off or can it all be sneaked around the sides?

Thanks

Are you interested in locating a "stock" replacement? I may have a service-able set that were left over from a motor swap. If interested send a PM.

Note, the set from the 98 won't work as the 2002 has a return fuel system. Whereas the 98 has a return system. The fuel rail pressure sensor (FRPS) won't fit on the 98.

EDIT: It turns out that the set I have is from a 2003 Grand Marquis (not Mustang). The Grand Marquis uses a return style fuel system (not return-less). So these won't work for your application. Sorry.

To anyone else reading this thread. The OP still needs help with the original problem.
