best and easiest way to remove rear seat ???

whats the best and easiest way to remove the rear seat....wheres the bolt/screw/pins etc ??

the bottom has 2 clips, pull up the cusion a bit and youll see em, push em and theyll unsnap (might need a screwdriver) sometimes you get lucky and just yank it up and out. fold down the seat backs. remove teh bolts exposed up top, i believe theres on or 2 down below also. done

I read this in another post. Why would you want to do this? Do you leave it like that? Is there that much weight reduction?

well, the track is about to close in my area....my car is finally done.....so i'm dying for my "best times" so i'm removing all the spare seats, spare etc....

The rear seat weighs 53 pounds, so it's good for about .05 in the 1/4. Make your own delete kit. I had plywood laying around and got some really nice fabric from walmart that almost identacally matched the interior (down to the pattern!) for $1 yard. It cost me less than $10, and it's just as good as those $150 ones.

well, its my daily driver....and i sometimes have excess people in the car........i really just want them out....because my car setup is perfect right now.....and the track is about to close....and i have yet to get a time that resembles my car's potential.....


best to date 12.9 (343hp 390tq, no tires)

397hp 425tq, no tires 13.4 (slipping to much)

now 400 hp 425tq, 315 Nitto R's, posi traction diff, and 3.73 gears....!!!!!

i'm looking for 12.2's mabye 12 flat !!
