If 11s was possible with $2000 and reliable then everyone would have 11 second cars.

Even to do a H/C/I, you'll need a new TB. Buy some headers and a cat-back. New fuel pump. Adjustable fuel pressure regulartor. New MAF calibrated for 24# and get some 24# injectors. No point of doing that with the stock gears, so you'll swap those. If you have a 5-speed you'll want an aftermarket shifter. If an AOD you'll want a shift kit and torque convertor.

You'll need a good suspension to hook so you can reach 11's.

So basically, unless you are one hell of a driver and can find some whicked ass deals, you aren't reaching 11's on 2 grand.

sell the car and put that money with the $2000, then buy a motorcycle!! to tell you the truth, im thinking of selling my mustang 5.0 for one, they are pure speed man, only, u feel like your gonna die all the time.

11's for $2000? It took this recipe out of my own cook book:
1.Buy a set of slicks or drag radials (only Mickey Thompsons) $320
2. Ditch the power steering, radio, a/c, heat, speakers, smog stuff. That will get you down to around 2800lbs. Do all of the free stuff, take out the air silencer, bump the timing, change to all synthetics.
3. Take the car to the track. It will run mid-high 13's with no motor work
4. Next, get some gears, probably 4.10's as the will run out of mile an hour right at the rev limiter in 4th if you get into the 11's. We are at a total of $850, slicks, gears and install)
5. At the track it should be low-mid 13's.
6. Buy some pullies, a cat back and a 255lph fuel pump,we are at $1300
7. Buy a nitrous kit, pill it for a 150 shot. This will put you in the eleven's for around $1900, including one full bottle of the juice.

I started with this recipe. With the pullies and cat back and free mods my car would run 13.5 with a completely stock motor. It was putting down 225 hp to the ground and running through the traps at 99.75. At that point I decided to take a different route and went with H/C/I. It now runs 12.70's on street tires at almost 111. If I were to add the nitrous to the stock combo, it would have been in the 11's. If you do the math, a 150 horse shot would yield around 125 at the wheels for a total of around 350. 350 rwhp equates to around 115mph or 11.75. I know that this math is not perfect and does not take into account how good the driver is, but it has been spot on for me. It will be good enough to garuntee 11's. Oh, and you have to launch at 5K and shift as fast as you can!

If you find all of the stuff used, you can add some headers and an h-pipe.
