Best bang for the buck, 66 suspension shot

I just picked up my 66 Coupe', needless to say, when you make a turn in the corners, the wheels are way off. Tires are only 4 months old, and they are both bald on the inside of the tread. Should I go ahead and rebuild keeping the orgiinal design, or go with some other suspension package. I like the idea of making this car handle.
