Best bang for the buck S/C

Even though the KB is a lot of money, I can't complain. The instant boost is nice for streetability and daily driving. I makes getting to highway speeds a breeze. And you can enjoy the boost w/out getting into higher rpms. Which I don't like personally, but many enjoy.

Just curious, that ET posted under your avatar, is it before your KB?...please say yes

would have to agree that the allen kit is not in the running...its (somewhat) cheap, but most people I have seen with it are making pretty low numbers.

I have seen people making 380rwhp with a used Saleen series 4 though...
Although I do love the Allen set up and would recommend it to anyone with a SOHC 4.6, they're definitely not in the running as far as “making the most power” is concerned. That being said, if this isn't your only defining attribute to the definition of the "best bang for the buck", it's pretty hard to ignore the fact that the Allen is the most complete, well put together kit on the marked, hands down. Very, very well built, stone reliable and their customer service is second to none.

Now, that being said, Allen will shortly be releasing their new kits with Gen IV Eaton MP-90 in the new year, which in comparison to the Gen III M-90 that they used previously, should be a big improvement. The new blower is said to move measurably more air, while decreasing ACT’s by 30-degree’s. This should put them on par with a lot of the big boys. It's the same blower used in the Saleen Series IV above, but it boasts a superior intake manifold to boot. So I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

And I'm not sure where the consensus came from that the Allen kits were inexpensive? They're kit is actually quite pricey in comparison to a few, but IMO, well worth the money!

Yes, this was awhile back, first time at the track, and I think it was even my first run, the two following were not as good ( I think one was faster but less ET). I have yet to take it to the track yet because where I live they closed down about 3 months ago. I missed the track w/ the install by about a week, I would have went but did not have the tune checked and did not want to put it to the limits until I had it checked. I don't think I would be talking to kindly about KB if I spent $4000 and made a track time like that.
:D
