best blower for my setup??

i have an 85, all mods are in my sig.
i was wondering what would be the best blower to go with, i was thinking about getting a 6-psi powerdyne accessorie blower for like an 86 and up but using a carb hat on it.
and for the fuel i know id have to junk the mechanical pump, but would an inline pump do the job?

powerdynes are nice blowers, i would say that running 6-psi an inline pump would do the trick.

I'm running a 9psi Powerdyne with my carbureted setup. I'm very happy with the increase in performance. I'm using a 255LPH EFI pump and Mallory 4307 return style regulator. I do think there is a way to use a mechanical pump with boost. The mechanical pump must be boost referenced, meaning that it has to raise fuel pressure on a 1:1 basis with the supercharger boost. My plan is to use the holley 174 blower. Look that one up its a roots style blower and isnt tooo pricey.

I wouldn't even consider a powerdyne. If all you need is 6psi then I would highly recommend a Paxton NOVI 1000 or one of the smaller Vortechs. You get so much more for your money.
