I am looking for the best possible brakes for my 65 fastback with manuel brakes and booster. Anybody selling kits for the front with 13" rotors? Without spending $2000? I am thinking of a budget of hopefully not more than 1500 for the front........Cobra automotive sells a rear drum upgrade for about $599. It consists of 2.5 x 10" drums, etc. They claim it outbrakes most rear disk setups....has anybody done this upgrade?
They also sell a 12" front rotor with "Rebuilt" lincoln calipers, etc for $1565.....That seems kinda high for rebuilt calipers off a lincoln, they also reccomend a SVO style master cylinder but say that a booster may not clear the shock tower with it.....what are you guys using.???????
