I'm thinking that one of the next few mods I want to do is a brake upgrade. After driving sicK96GT's car, my brakes feel like . Since I just got the 18" Bullitt wheels, I can't get the Cobra R Brembo kit, so that's out of the question.

Over all, which kit is the best? I am just looking for high performance brakes.

Here's the only page I've looked at so far: http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-brake-conversion-kits.html

If anyone has anything else to throw at me, please do. Thanks guys!

I got the bullitt calipers from buyfordracing and a $100 set of slotted/drilled/zinc plated rotors off ebay. $400 for nice looking 13" brakes!

That's what I installed. Great upgrade for the price.

I got the cobra ones as a kit somewhere online for $400. Came with pads, rotors and lines. $25 of red engine paint is nice. But if you paint them, get the high temp engine clear coat too....They are SOOO shiny!

+1 for the Mach 1 kit. It's not expensive and I drove a 2000 GT with the Mach 1 kit before I bought my 96 and I could tell a huge difference. It was awesome

I went with 13 inch's in the front and the rear, Baer rotors, and the bullit calipars, with SS lines.

I got the rotors off of ebay for pretty cheap, and the quality is great. I'll try to get pictures soon.

The Bullitt calipers are much nicer I think, I love having the pony emblem. But any of the Mach 1/Bullitt/Cobra kits are definitely the best value for the $.
