I used that tool....its a joke IMHO.It almost slipped off the cam gear a few times, before I decided to used vice grips. I bought it used, and still have it....but I wont sell it to anyone because its a complete waste of money.
I'm not a fan of it myself but for some it works fine. Funny thing is I did a cam swap in my Yamaha Rhino and it's basically the same set up with the exception of being one cam and the chain tensioner is accessible from the side of the engine. I used zip ties to secure the top of the chain to the cam gear and then used a bungee cord attached to the roll bar to keep tension on it. There was no easy way to do that install on the Rhino, ghetto but it worked.
