My mods are listed below. AFR165s are on the way. I'm droppin the Performer intake for an Air Gap. I want vac sec and EASY adjusting without having to change jets etc. I was thinking 650 Demon but I don't have 500 to piss away. I have 2000 to work with so I'm trying to get a carb for 300 or less. Thanks.

The Holley 750 is a nice working carb and still fairly cheap new.

If you're runnin a 5-spd, you might try a 650 double pumper (#4777). I picked up a nice used one for $150, added a $40 re-new kit and it works awesome.

I am going to say the 670 Holley street aveger would be a good carb.

I ran a 670 Street Avenger Carb on my 72 Nova with 383 stroker and it worked verywell, but the "price of admission" is a bit higher.

NO way! Why to big of a carb. I have a Edlebrock 750 on my setup with a blower and it's still more than enough. I'd go either with a Holley 650 or Edlebrock 650 should do the job...Good Luck!

I think the 750 is to big you should be good with a Holley 650.

How To Calculate CFM:
Engine size (CID) x maximum RPM / 3456 = CFM
CFM @ 100% volumetric efficiency

(Example: 350 CID x 6000 RPM = 2,100,000 / 3456 = 608 CFM)

and think about it you are no where near 100% volumetric efficiency

A 750 Vac secondary is way different than a 750 DP. That's why the guy recommended it......it would perform more like a 650 DP.
