best fuel pump for supercharged engine

i have a focus pump with a KB bap & it works great. but, if i were to do it over again i'd get a ford GT pump

The aviator probably it's 271lph. The problem is with the stock mustang gt tank and fuel bucket it is to restrictive to allow the pump to pump to its maximum. So after 425+ or so it starts starving for fuel. 2003-04 Cobras use baffles to keep the pumps submerged at all times. With a Boost a pump the cobra setup is good to over 600 hp. Even more with other changes like fuel rails etc.

focus pump and aviator pump are direct fits. there's a certain aviator pump though you're supposed to get I'm not sure the part number but someone knows on here. Also, I didn't drill any holes in my basket and I didn't show in drop in fuel on the dyno and I had 6 runs.

I had the aviator just make sure its for the 2004

The Focus pump is good to about 400-430 RWHP. Add a BAP and more.

Ford GT FPs are a good choice they flow way more than the Focus pumps, BUT, if you run one you need to run an additional FPDM to get that flow rate. If you run a single FPDM as stock, then they flow less than a Focus FP.

In a 2v car your best choice is 03 Cobra tank and pumps - the 2v tank's fuel can tends to get sucked dry.

As mentioned returnless FPs must be repalced with returnless style FPs. Walbro style FPs are Gyrator pumps, Ford FPs are turbine style pumps. With a gyrator FP you cannot control the flow by varying the voltage well enough to be acceptable. Walbro style FPs in a retunrless vehicle will result in drievability not being optimal and ealy pump failure. Keep in mind a Walbro style pump meant for a return syle fuel system, the pump is operating at only one (or sometimes two) speeds. The superchager manufacturers whoo include Walbro FPs in their kits do so for one reason - they are cheap and they need to keep the kit costs low.

i have an aviator pump in my stock GT basket and dynoed at 433 whp, and actually my tuner had to lean it way out because the pump worked that well. i would say and he told my the aviator pump is good to 475 or so rwhp, now with a BAP it would be good to 550.

If you can afford it get the dual Cobra pumps and that will carry you over the 500 hp range. If not get the focus pump.

Its not that the aviator is not a good pump. It's that the gt fuel bucket that the pump sits in can be sucked dry by the pump at higher hp levels. I had the aviator fuel pump.
