I would like to purchase a HCI combo but want the most power available with out alot of porting or any other alterations. The bottom end will remain stock i dont mind putting up with a little loss in torque or drivability

I currently have no mods on 128,000 mile 302 I do have 3.73 gears ....nice

you cant get the "most" power without the "other alterations"

it just dosent work like that.

I would do AFR 165's, Performer, custom cam.

yep yep, that's just how it goes. You can make some decent power with minimal alterations though...

grover, your avatar is disturbing... lol

Strongly agree. You modify one part, the rest has to be matched. Although GroverDill's suggestion is a great starting point.

Holley or TFS kit with new exhaust, injectors, MAF, and TB, gets my vote.

I agree w/ most of these guys, but I would like to add a few more things. Drive aggressively, and get good tires...the results will amaze you.

Thanks for all the advice guys does anybody run the afr 185 on a stock 302 seems like it would be a bit much for a stock bottom end

I was thinking of going afr 165 heads systemax intake and custom cam i would like to maybe add a supercharger down the road if i get bored with the hci
