I am Posting a question for a friend. Which Blower Do you think would be suitable for a 331?

The Motor is as follows.
DART Little M Block
Scat Forged Crank, H-Beam Rods.
SRP Pistons 10:4:1 Compression
AFR 185cc Heads
Holley System Max Intake. 30lbs Injectors.Accufab Throttle Body.

I personally have experiance with ATI Procharger, I have a current Tech Article project in Novembers & Decembers Super Chevy Magazine in which we used a ATI D-1SC, I thought it was a real quality system. I told my friend a
P-1SC with a 6psi pulley would do the trick. What do you like?

I like procharger, intercooled centrifugal SC's make a lot of power.

But i dont know how much boost you can run wiht 10.4:1 compression. Will you be running race gas?

With that kind of compression, I'd have to think long and hard about nitrous before deciding to opt for the expense of an SC. Intercooled system is almost a must. Boost wise, you're probably looking at getting away with 6 psi at most. On 91 octane gas it will probably be less. This all assumes a tune that is as close to perfect as it can be had.

wonderful HIGH quality arco 91.. lol.. yeah so cal aight it great.. lmao.. as for a supercharger on 10.4cr how much boost 4-6 would be ok.. but no more then that.. with the expense of a supercharger.. if your looking for a little more punch.. i would go nitrous.. not a huge fan of the nitrous.. but with that kind of a cr.. and 91.. eeehh..

Yea I brought up the thought of using the squeeze instead of Boost. I recommended the NX Gemeni Plate System for His Holley System Max. Maybe a 175 Shot or 200 Max with SRP pistons?
