Best Long tubes - BBK or MAC

The Macs are very nicely finished around the ports where they hook up to the heads. No burs, weld beads and clean. I don't know about the BBK's but the Ford Motorsports are terrible. There's all kinds of weld and crap in those ports which wouldn't help with airflow. Anyone I've known that've gone with the Ford's had to port them out to help clean up some of that restriction.

LT's are known FOR their awesome low end tq production, not the shorty's. All of the headers were basically within 2-3hp at redline, but the LT's had a very significant (like 20ft lb) advantage over the shorties from 2k-4k rpm. Plus, they kill alot of exhaust drone at highway speeds.

I myself am probably going to go with BBK chrome LT's and their o/r h-pipe. I dont think the ProChamber is worth the extra hundered bucks over just a regular h-pipe. X-pipes dont sound that great on 5.0's, IMO. :)

I have BBK Ceramic Coated Longtubes (1 5/8") and I love 'em. Fit great...look great...sound great. I should say that I've only had them on the car for one month, so I don't have any longterm results, but no complaints yet. No personal experience with any other types though.

I was going to go with the shorty x-pipe, but I then found it out it wasn't a "true" X design, so I stuck with the tried and true H design which I knew and liked, plus was cheaper.
