Well I figured Id throw a set of LT headers on the car while I do the 2.70 pulley and cobra tank and pumps.

So on a supercharged car with cams whats a good, decently priced, set of headers? Ive looked into JBA and BBK. Is BBK a pretty good bang for the buck. JBAs are bout $800-$1000 where BBKs are $450-$500.

SLP's or Bassani would be my only choices, though you would need their respective X-pipe as well

I love my BBK's, the slp's are not worth the extra 300 bucks to me. The money you save can buy a tb/plenum, gears and an install, etc. Just my opinion, but you'll def. be satisfied w/ them....

Shorties, lt's are a headache (clutch/trans swapping...ground clearance...leaks which require k-member removal to fix...). You won't lose hardly anything with shorties and a 3" full exhaust over LT's on a blown application when pushing the kinda power you are.

Those are valid points, especially the whole clutch and tranny removal if that ever needs to be changed. However the gains of Lt's w/ his mods will be tremendous and if he does go 3" exhaust even more of an added bonus w/ the LT's.

Why not MAC? I just installed a set of their longtubes and I love them. I've seen people post that they've had them for years and years with no problems. Plus, you can get ceramic coated ones for only about $450, and the HTS at $350 brand new.

Not necessarily. The gains of longtubes over shorties goes away the higher up you get in power. LT's will gain more power in most NA and 90% of nitrous and 75% of boosted applications, true. I'm just sick and tired of long tube complications.

JBA makes a great quality product, I'm sure you'll love them!

^ Agreed...that seems to happen. Im not 100% sure why...but i suspect it has to do with the air being forced into the cylinder, vs when N/A the LTs help to pull new air into the cylinders...especially with N/A cams.
