Best mail order tune?

I recently installed a PI intake on my 98 GT, and I think that a tune would really let me get the most out of it. I'm considering ordering a gear kit from Americanmuscle.com, which comes with a Predator or Xcal3 with custom tune. I haven't read much about their tuning abilities, so I've been searching around for other reputable places that do mail order tuning.

I'd love to put my car up on a Dyno but I just don't have time for it. Would the americanmuscle tune do the trick? Does MPH do mail order tunes? Any advice would be much appreciated. :)

Thanks!

Yes MPH does mail order tunes and I would recommend Tim to do it.

Is there a reason why you did not go with PI cams as well? Just wondering why you only allowing the car to breath a tad when with the cams you will increase power.

I put on the PI intake because I still have the stock intake with plastic crossover. My main goal was to avoid a situation where that would crack and leave me stranded.

To be honest- I'm a bit afraid of doing a cam install myself. Is it a hard installation?

Thanks for the feedback. I see that MPH is held in high esteem here, I just don't see the option to purchase a mail order tune from them online. Is that something I would call them and ask for directly?

Perhaps where I am not really modded, I'll pick up that kit from American muscle and use their tune, then as my power mods increase, I'll contact MPH to make the most of it.

Cam swap isn't all that hard. IMO, it's no harder than the intake swap, although there are more things you can do wrong...But mine really wasn't bad at all. Just be sure to have at least a few extra hands around.

And also, if possible do the cam swap first. I did all my mods first, before a tune (which I haven't gotten just yet) and didn't make any more power, and people are telling me that it needs a tune. It would suck to tune it, go and mod it more, and have to retune it just to make more power. Money down the drain IMO.

Thanks for your advice Will. The appealing thing about getting a tuner through American Muscle is that they give you free tunes for life. So theoretically I could request a new tune every time I add something to my car :) I think for right now, I will get one for my PI intake, and the SLP X pipe and 4.10s that are coming  I will wait until I have a real garage of my own to start doing any real engine work (like cam swaps). I'm excited!!!
