This is a total ripoff of a thread on the F150 forum I post on, because frankly, it's one of the most awesome forum threads I've ever come across.

http://www.f150forum.com/f38/best-modifications-under-50-a-166689/ (So you can see what I'm talking about.)

Post up something you've done for your car that didn't cost much, but made a bigger difference than you thought it would, or made it "just right", or made it easier to drive/live with.

Pics not required, but strongly encouraged!

LED light bulbs in my stock gauge cluster. Cost less than $20 and really brightened things up and got rid of the dill spots. Cluster looks like it belongs to a vehicle 20-years newer.

Not mine, but another Fox, after LED's were installed.

I am probably going to install LED bulbs in all 3 of our Mustangs! It just looks like it would be the best decision for night driving.

Here's one that I did a few years ago to my II that I also kinda stole from a Google pic search result I found one time. I ended up buying the chrome door edge bump strips that you can pick up at any auto parts store like Autozone for something like $10-$20 or so. I then installed them on the horizontal edges of my black grill. There is something about the look that I like. I also bought some "chrome" spray paint and painted the turn signal bezels to kinda blend in until I can find some actual chrome pieces. Here are a few pics, one before and 4 different versions of the made over grill with different options for the lights. I went with the "clear" lights and silver bezels.....
