Best place to buy door/ hatch seals?

Finaly got the stang painted. :SNSign: Still need to re-clear some areas, but not to shabby for a first timer. I need to replace my door and hatch seals. Any respectable, but cheap, dealers out there?

Oh, I'll post pics of the stang when I get it fully assembled. Currently trying to find someone who will powder coat the ground effect's mounting strips.

Had to change the title from "Best place to butt door/ hatch seals". I'll have to blame FarBeyonds haloween pics.

50resto or CJpony sell great aftermarket stuff. Just be aware that the aftermarket stuff tends to be a little thinner than the OEM stuff so you have to do some adjusting to get everything to line up.

Go to the Autozone and get em there. I can't remember what company they use (starts with an M) but the stuff is really good.

Here you go man. I am doing a full resto and I got this right here and all you do is pull off the stock and drop this into place. The ones the window rides in can be tricky. If you know how to remove the windows part way it can be done. I recomend these. Great price for rubbers all around and great product. Helps cut down outside noise and It is water tight.

It is not the same quality as ford; however, the 50resto hatch was like $20 and the OEM ford I just got from year one cost me $95!

Yea, but the suckiness level of the 50resto ones outweighs the cost of the OEM ones. Those people will end up wasting the $20 on 50resto, only to spend the money on the OEM ones anyway.

I had the 50resto ones on for a few months, only to throw them away and buy OEM, because they suck so bad.

The door weatherstrips are so much skinner than OEM, that I had to bring my door striker in too far, just to get it to seal....and they still had a leak. I slapped on a set of OEM, brought the striker back to normal position, and I haven't had one leak. No wind noise, nothing.

I agree with you, but there are enough people out there that keep the 50resto (and the reporduction companies) weatherstripping in business.

I agree totally with you on Metro Molded Parts. Here is their link http://www.metrommp.com/

They have held up very nicely, I just silicone them every once in a while with some spray.
