Hey folks looking for the best price and best place to buy a new or refurbished A9L??i searched but all the results were old from when they couldn’t be found. I know you can get them nowadays but where?? I’ve heard the name cardone come up before, please and thanks I really need one like yesterday lol!!

they are hard to find these days

I always upgrade to the 94-95 ecu, the auto ones are the best and usually cheaper and easier to find.

Is it just plug and play or is it something that requires tuning or rewiring? Do they run as strong as fox body eec’s?? Every 94-95 I’ve been in is a turd!!!

Sorry some of it didn’t make sense to me. So I get I need to repin my harness that’s easy enough. But i also need a tune?? As in I have to buy an expensive tuning software/interface?? Or can 94-95 ecus be tuned without a moats or tweecer?

the custom tuning software is free

the base tune is free

all u have to buy is a $250 moates quartethorse. price wise its the best bang for the buck you can do and youll still come out ahead

Auto zone lists 2 different Blue Streak reman part numbers for a 94-95 manual. which one is correct for this swap? My a9l is toast and am willing to try this. ECC354 ,or
ECC10294M ? From the link all im doing is moving 3 pins on my existing 1991 harness at the 60pin connector?

It doesn't matter a manual or auto 94-95 mustang ecu will work. I usually get the auto ecu's as they are more readily available and usually cheaper. It makes no difference.

yes you only move the 3 pins as detailed in the write up.
