I think....Matt(91LX_5L) i believe, got his setup off of here not too long ago....

http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=24

Im actually thinking about getting some. Is it best to get cross drilled and slotted? Or just one or the other? Its a street car by the way....

http://www.johnbleakleyford.com/partssearch.asp?search=BRAKE

this is the cheapest i have found that includes the m/c.

you do not NEED drilled or slotted rotors. quite frankly on a street car the only benefits you will notice is looks and decreased scoring of the rotors.

How about this?

Looks like a pretty good deal to me, anyone with experience with them? They also have the matching 13' rear kit for $299

the m/c included with that kit is th OE cobra m/c. it is supposed to supply the larger amount of fluid required to compress the caliper.

many on this site have stated that did not put on the m/c and have had no adverse effects. i don't jack around when it comes to my cars brakes. i believe there is a reason why all reputable suppliers of this and like kits all include the m/c for 94/95 cars.

btw, i have a cobra with 10th anniv calipers, frpp drilled/slotted rotors(like the look), hawk pads, and braided hoses. my car has a very good pedal and stops very well for what it is.

i have a cobra, so my car was already equipped the upgraded m/c. my rears match my fronts.

http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/

this is a good site that someone from the fox forum posted up a while back. it has some real good info on piston size and so on.

btw, my pedal is far from soft.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but has anyone replaced the M/C? Is it hard? Anything u have to be careful of? I know the brakes(calipers, rotors, etc) are pretty easy/straight forward. What about the m/c?

Just found a thread that describes it...will post it just incase anyone else needs the help.

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=581792&highlight=master+cylinder

So basically u hook the 2 lines up and run it into a reservoir of brake fluid and pump it on the end until all the air bubbles are out of the lines? So its like u have brake fluid in the reservoir uptop, then the two lines run into a tub of brake fluid correct?

Am i getting this right?

Thats how you bench bleed the mc. Which will have to be done with a new one. So you are right about that. When I upgrade my brakes to most likely cobras, I will be getting the mc as well. Like Ben said, its not worth skipping out on stuff. Do it right the first time.
