okay I am looing at getting some heads. I have looked at shm, total engine airflow,vt, fox lake, modmax

anyone with exeriences. I have heard good things about shm but the total engin airflow heads seem to "advertise" very good flow. the advertise for $1699 as much flow as the $2000 vt heads.

basically I just want to do heads, cams, intake but the car will still be steat driven.

Do they have cores or do you have to send them your heads, then wait for yours to be sent back?

yeah maybe I will just give them a call. they seem to turn out great numbers. obviously way smarter than I am. have them recomend a head and cam combo for me.

With this cam and head combo, what kind of number are you looking at (hp/tq)? I'm looking to do the same thing myself.

well it all varies on your combo. proably 40-60 hp. you really need to upgrade other things to get full benefit. someone posted a 310hp 320lbs with shm stage 1, 2760 cams, c&l plenum and tune. not sure what exhaust he had. those numbers seemed great to me. maybe one of the guys from vt can chime in and let you know what to expect from one of thier setups.

here are links to all the people I have looked at. I have no clue as to who is the best option. Vt and t&j post alot here. seem to be very helpful.
