best power route?

If you plan on trying to have a 500 hp ride someday in the distant future then start with the HCI, but if you want speed and you want it now go the charger route.... same price in the end (used charger) and more power with alot less drivablity issues.....wish I had

You should get the supercharger first and destroy your engine. Then you almost have to get a new setup (why even try to put together the old parts?) Thats what I did and I wouldnt have it any other way. :rlaugh:
I didnt really "blow up" my old engine, but I dont think supercharging is much cheaper or safer, but neither choice is safer without a tune says CivicEater.

Well I think most people on here will agree that it is the lack of tune that kills an engine not boost or juice..there are plenty of guys on here running boost or juice for years on a stock block with no probs......

Yeah I know ,but I was kind of joking. I had my supercharger for a full year of daily driving and random abuse. The engine had like 70,000 miles on it before I slapped on a 9psi kit and pretty much the only things that went out were the rings, but it just looks bad when a huge puff of smoke shoots out.

Now I can back off the timing on the fly and adjust the fuel pressure more accurately. So back off...just kidding. :D
