I'm a real newb (first oil change last night) and looking for the best repair manual out there. Looks like Haynes is the one but wanted to know if this is the best one. Thanks.
Never had much luck with Haynes or Chilton they always seem to leave out the one thing I'm working on or a one step out of what I'm doing. I've had good experience with OEM Ford shop manual, they are really expensive new like $180 if you can find a parts department who will hook you up. Best bet is troll eBay for one, I got my manual and electrical manual for $50.
I usually buy a Haynes AND a Chilton's manual for a car I plan on keeping around for a while. What one book doesn't have, the other often does. Between those two books and Autozone's free repair guides, I usually find what I'm looking for.
