ok guys I need to know the best RPM to shift at on a 98 GT with Npi heads. I have a set of 4.30's in the rear, and soon to be mac o/r H pipe, flowmaster 1 chambers. Were would you guys think would be the best possible place to shift at.

When I still had the NPI heads, I found I would get the best times if I shifted at 5400rpm from 1st to 2nd, and the rest of the shifts at 5200rpm. But that was with the stock 3.27's
Since most stock tach's are out to lunch, the rule of thumb is......find out where it starts falling on it's face and shift about 200rpm after it stops producing power.
I usually hit 5500 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. Little higher going into 5th at approx 5700-5900 rpm. Managed under 15 secs in 1/4 mile with 4.10s (still completely stock NPI motor) and mine is a 'vert.
