If your street only with the very occasional strip, the Comp Plus is probably the way to go and RealMongo is right, make sure you get the correct install kit. If your going to drag only, you want a Hurst Vert-i-gate, much harder to miss a shift, but a pain in the butt on the street until you get used to it.

Did you cut the tunnel to get that shifter to fit? I know in catalogs they say it will not fit stock consoles, but yours obviously fits
In addition to this advice, if your car doesn't already have a Toploader and you have not bought one already, when you do buy one, you're going to need to buy one that's got the correct tailshaft housing for your application. Otherwise the install kit and shifter won't fit your car or transmission. So i think all this is right what do you think. Also i heard that B&M is a better shifter because Hurst uses plastic bushings, I dont know if there is any truth to this but from the looks of what i have seen on this forum i think i will go with the hurst

I don't know why Hurst insists on including the POS plastic bushings in the kit. They'd do themselves a favor by putting both plastic and the steels in the kit. Not many know about the steel bushings, you have to search for their part# in their site.
