I keep missing third, I just put in 4.10's with mickey t's and my shifter now feels like a noodle trying to get it into 3rd, i keep hitting 5th instead, I guess its alot different than the ole t5.

But hows the steeda shifter for these, thats the only one I liked for my t5's.

any others?

missing third could be an indication that your car is not fully disengaging the pressure plate from the flywheel and clutch disk. You might need to get a firewall adjuster if this is the problem.

Anyway, to answer your question the pro5.0 shifter is my favorite. A lot of guys like the pro50 base with a steeda tri-ax handle.

They have a loaded spring that will help you hit 3rd without thinking about it. But if you're still having problems once you have an aftermarket shifter, do not keep trying to force it to shift. Fix the problem before you destroy synchros.

Another Pro 5.0 here. I actually like the "non-buttery" shifts...it's more direct and solid. You KNOW you hit a gear when you shift one of these things, unlike the feeling of rowing a dead fish through a bowl of mashed potatoes like you get with a T5..lol

The MGW shifter is hard to beat, very nicely machined. The upper part of the handle can be adjusted to change the angle to match your seating position and arm length.

They now have a model that will fit the Tremec 3550 and TKO transmissions.
